Mission Projects

Getting involved with mission projects at Odenville United Methodist Church is a meaningful way to serve both the local community and those in need beyond our borders. Through various outreach programs, members have the opportunity to make a positive impact, whether by supporting food drives and benevolent projects, or participating in community events that share God's love to those around us through acts of kindness and foster fellowship and personal growth among church members. Odenville UMC’s mission work is open to all who feel called to serve, making it an enriching experience to contribute time, skills, and resources to make a real difference.

Prayer Wall

Odenville United Methodist Church conducts a Prayer Wall that is spearheaded by the Crosswalk Youth Ministry. Prayers requests are submitted from the congregation. These prayer requests are posted on the back of the stage across the street from the church. Youth mention and pray over every prayer request.

BackPack Buddies

Odenville United Methodist Church collects food and hygiene items for distribution with our local BackPack Buddies group. Backpack Buddies supplies food items each week to supply needy children with food for the weekend.

Cops for Tots

Odenville United Methodist Church participates each year in the City of Odenville Cops for Tots program to provide toys for needy families in our community. If you are a family in need during the holidays, please contact the Odenville Police Department direct to apply for this assistance. If you would like to contribute to this benevolent mission project, please let us know.

Monthly Missions Emphasis in the Community

Odenville United Methodist Church is actively involved in Odenville Elementary, Odenville Intermediate School and Odenville Middle School by supplying teachers with supplies and students who need school supplies and other items.
